There are two places with this name that I know of: Charleroi, Belgium and Charleroi, PA (aka the "Magic City"). I passed the exit to Charleroi, Belgium once on the way to Waterloo. And lived in Charleroi, PA once upon a time. What, you ask, do they have in common? Well, as far as I know not much except they both have the same name and glass factories. In Charleroi, Belgium, the major sport is Soccer; in Charleroi, PA, the major sport is watching these guys while consuming large amounts of this.

The people in the picture know where Charleroi, PA is and why anybody cares. This page is dedicated to one particular Charleroi native (the guy in the box) who saw my Web site and called my attention to the fact that it was OK but would be much better if it included the three great loves of his life (after his family, of course!). One of them is Charleroi, PA. Its up to you to figure out what the other two are.
