Site theme

Where did you get this theme? Is it a custom-built theme?
There's nothing much new or original about the site's theme. It is the well-known Tarski theme which has been customized for use here at hrpr.com.
The theme looks a bit dated. Why haven't you upgraded it to have a more contemporary look with bright colors and flashy graphics?
I prefer to think that it has a "classic" look rather than being outdated! And we've implemented some HTML5 and CSS3 features in our current theme.
The site does not display correctly on my screen. What's up with that?
Can't really say for sure..but if you are using an older browser that does not support current HTML and CSS standards (e.g., Internet Explorer 6 or below), that may be the reason. All of my testing is done using the current versions of Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. The testing is done with screen resolutions of 1024X768, 1280x1024 and 1680x1050. If you are using another operating system (Mac OS/X, etc.) or browser (Safari , Opera, etc.), that may be it. Or maybe you've found a bug in the theme's xHTML and/or CSS stuff!
What is the "optimal" window size for viewing the site?
The theme is optimized for display in browser windows that are between 1024 pixels (px) and 1200px wide. I prefer a 1200x800 browser window. But the "standard" 1024x768 browser window is fine too, as is 800x600 if you don't mind a horizontal scroll bar. For browser windows greater than 1200px, the display will be centered in the window.
